Campus Tours and Information Sessions

These are offered most weekdays at 9:15 a.m. & 1:15 p.m., and select Saturdays. The visit includes a 45 minute information session with an admissions counselor followed by a 60 minute walking tour of  campus with one of our student ambassadors.

Group Visits

We offer guided tours and presentations with Admissions Counselors for groups that are larger than 5 people. These are available to high school and community college groups that are less than 50 students on select days. For more information, please visit our group visits information page.

Class Visit Experiences

Our Professors care about their students--and even know their names! Sit in a class where you can observe our cutting edge liberal arts curriculum firsthand. Please note that class visits are only available to admitted high school Seniors and Transfer students.

On Campus Interviews

A great way to meet an admissions counselor to talk about your interests and background. Interviews serve two purposes; they let us ask, "why should we choose you?" and they let you ask, "why should I choose Saint Mary's?"

Self Guided Tours and Campus Maps

Want to explore campus on your own? We offer a great self guided tour! If you're on campus between the hours of 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, stop by the Visitor's Center for a packet of information.

Tours of the Recreational Center

Interested in walking through the new Joseph L. Alioto Recreation Center? We offer guided tours of the facilities Monday-Friday, at 11:15 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. If you would like to visit another time, please contact Campus Recreation at 925-631-4949 or via email at to make other arrangements.

Guest and Visitor Parking

Please pick up a temporary parking permit at the Public Safety Front Gate. Visitors may park in one of our four reserved parking designated visitor lots or where directed by Public Safety personnel. Check-in on the first floor of Brother Jerome West Hall. 


Walk-ins will be accommodated according and all visit requests are subject to availability.
