Salinas Immersion

Date & Time:
Thursday, October 19, 2017 - 8 a.m. to Saturday, October 21, 2017 - 6 p.m.
Location:
Description:

Spend a weekend away during midterm break and learn first hand the human cost of food and the complexity of issues around produce production in America. Get connected, make new friends, and deepen your heart and mind!

Salinas has some of the most fertile soil in the country and is home of much of our produce. Our hope is to have a transformative educational experience that instills a greater sense of complexity of food issues, immigration in CA as well as the US, and the efforts of those on the ground working to push forward social justice.
