Night-n-Gael Information Site

Welcome to the Night-N-Gael Event Information site! Your one stop for everything you need to make your overnight experience an exciting one.

Be sure to register for the event at our Night-N-Gael Registration Page!

We are incredibly excited to have you come and experience our campus. You will have to opportunity to meet with faculty and staff, sample our cuisine in Oliver Hall, spend an evening in one of our residence halls and most importantly meet current students and learn about our Gael lifestyle.

Based on the information you provided in your registration we will match you with a current Saint Mary's student who will host you in their room Tuesday evening (don't forget your sleeping bag!). We also create a customized class schedule for Wednesday. You'll receive your schedule and meet your host when you check in for the event.

Here you will find all of the necessary information, waivers, forms, and documents needed to be sure you are all set for our overnight program. Click on any of the links below to view any information you may need (all of this information is also downloadable on our Night-N-Gael Info Packet):

 clean prior to your arrival.

 2. Anti Stink Gear: Toiletries

Be sure to remember your shampoo, soap, toothbrush,
toothpaste and deodorant! If you plan on taking a
shower during your stay, please be sure to bring a

3. Comfortable Clothes: Your Way

Be comfortable during your stay here. Wear what you like! Check the weather to see what is most appropriate. If you plan on doing any athletic events or using our pool, like our night hike or using our Recreational Center, bring proper clothing, towel and shoes.

4. Extra Hungry?: Cash for snacks

You will be well fed during your stay here. However if you have a big appetite (like Ardi), then bring some extra cash. We have a Café, Jamba Juice, and vending machines around campus.

5. Gael Attitude: An Open Mind

We look forward to this event every year and try our utmost best to provide you with an excellent experience. It is that much better if you participate as much as you feel comfortable. Sit with others at dinner, talk about your interests, and ask questions to any student you may meet (admitted or current!).

*Optional* Night-N-Car: Overnight Vehicles

If you are driving on your own and need to leave your car on campus overnight, we will have parking passes available for you upon arrival (no sleeping bag needed).

room 211 What To Expect:

 1. Exciting Events:

You have been accepted. You are excited and so are
we. Plan to fully dive into Saint Mary's Gael experience
 as much as you can.

 2. Student Hosts:

You will be pre-matched with current Saint Mary's
students. Remember that they are students first. These
hosts may have homework, jobs, and/or other activities
during the evening. Feel free to join them if you can:
study or join their other activities but also remember
you have events of your own!

We encourage you to meet other newly accepted students and attend these events together. You will have a significant amount of opportunities to interact.

3. Insight Into Gael Life

Day 2 gives you the opportunity to see the academic side of our campus. Every newly admitted student who attends will sit in on a class, participate in a sample Seminar, and attend a session of their choice!
