The KSOE's programs in Montessori Education and Early Childhood Education provides you access to an education that will profoundly transform your professional experience and your life.

We offer paths for both experienced educators, as well as those just getting started.

Inspired by Maria Montessori

The Montessori Teacher Education Program fully aligns with the vision of Maria Montessori. It is accredited by Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE) and is affiliated by the American Montessori Society (AMS).

Credentials offered:

  • Montessori Early Childhood (ages 3 through 6)
  • Montessori Elementary, Levels I and II (ages 6 through 12)

Master of Arts in Montessori Education

After completion of the Montessori credential you are eligible to pursue a Master of Arts in Montessori Education with only three more classes. 

If you have a credential from a MACTE accredited program, you are eligible to enroll in our Master of Arts in Teaching with an emphasis on Montessori pedagogy program. We will award you 15 units for your credential and you will only need to take 18 more units for your degree.
